The Ringer GT is the groove-top version of Discraft's Ringer, rated 4/4/0/3 with a bead: the same no-turn approach flight, a firmer fade than the standard Ringer carries, and the GT thumb track molded into the flight plate. It is an approach specialist for players who want a tactile, repeatable grip and a finish that always checks left.

The groove registers the thumb the same way every time, the bead locks the rim, and the fade 3 makes overthrows forgiving: push it too hard and it still hooks down instead of sailing.

Certified in April 2017 (PDGA cert 17-70), it extended the groove-top series that began with the Banger GT in 2005 into the approach-disc slot.

The runs lean tactile: Putter Line Soft, X Soft, and Rubber Blend Glo on the soft end, Jawbreaker and Jawbreaker Swirl in the middle, and Z FLX, Z Metallic, and ESP Swirl for durable premium.
