Machete

The Machete is an overstable distance driver rated 11/4/0/4, built with forehand players in mind: no turn under torque and a hard, early left finish. It is a wind and utility driver for power arms; thrown without real speed it is simply a long hyzer.

The blunt job description is reliability: full-power flicks hold their line, headwind drives stay put, and flex shots come back reliably. It sits a step less extreme than the 12-speed Flick, giving up a point of speed on the chart but sharing its refusal to flip.

Certified in March 2017 (PDGA cert 17-30), the Machete added a forehand-first overstable option to the distance lineup during the same busy year that added the Challenger variants and Ringer GT.
