The Joy is Paige Pierce's midrange, rated 4/5/-1/1: gentle speed, generous glide, a touch of workable turn, and a soft finish. It is a control mid for shaping lines at everyday power, friendly to newer players and finesse throwers alike; it is not the mid for heavy wind.

The glide-forward, barely-stable recipe makes it an easy-distance and turnover-capable disc, the approachable end of the midrange row.

It was certified in October 2025 under Pierce's prototype code (PDGA cert 25-156), joining the signature line Discraft has built around her. This entry will grow as runs and reviews accumulate.

The first runs came in prototype and First Run ESP.

    The Joy has more glide (5 vs 4) and a touch more turn (-1 vs -1) with less fade (1 vs 1). It is slightly more understable and glidey than the Buzzz.
