Crank

The Crank is a fast, workable distance driver rated 13/5/-2/2: real speed with enough turn to open up S-curves and enough fade to finish. For moderate-to-strong arms it is a distance line-shaper; brand-new players will find the speed demanding, and very big arms may want the stabler end of the lineup.

Thrown flat at power it drifts right through the mid-flight and recovers left, the classic controllable-distance shape. Slower arms can hyzer-flip it for their longest straight throws, and as it wears the turn grows, sliding it toward tailwind and roller duty.

Approved in July 2013 (PDGA cert 13-49), the Crank joined Discraft's post-Nuke speed generation, and a flippier sibling, the Crank SS, followed in 2015 with its own certification.

The run list is one of the widest in the lineup: Pro-D and X Line cheap, ESP and Z Line standard (plus Lite versions of both for lighter weights), FLX, Glo, and Sparkle variants, Titanium runs including a Ledgestone edition, and Signature Z Line stamps for collectors.
