Captain's Thrasher

The Captain's Thrasher is a modified, more stable version of Discraft's Thrasher, rated 12/5/0/2: the base mold's speed and glide with the -3 turn dialed out to zero. It gives power throwers a straighter, wind-safe take on the Thrasher's easy distance; slower arms lose the flip-up help that makes the original so friendly.

The result flies like a control-first distance driver: hold a line at full power, finish with a moderate fade, and strong resistance to turning over.

The PDGA certification, granted in July 2024 (cert 24-135), reads "modified overstable Thrasher," making the relationship official. The disc is Missy Gannon's, sold through her annual Tour Series runs; the "Captain" in the name is her Team Discraft captain title, the counterpart to team captain Paul Ulibarri's Captain's Raptor.
