Breeze

The Breeze is a discontinued midrange with a notable footnote: it was the prototype for Discraft's 2003 Ace Race, the earliest Ace Race entry in the PDGA record, from the annual event where every player throws only an unreleased mold. Its certification (03-14, approved that September) is literally titled "Breeze (Ace Race 2003)".

The event became a Discraft tradition that later launched the Glide, Impact, Hornet, Zeppelin, Zombee, Mantis, and Sting, among others; the Breeze itself saw only a limited run in the lineup before being retired.

It carries no published flight numbers here, its PDGA record lists a 176.8-gram maximum weight, and surviving copies are collector items from the event's first recorded year.
