The Rainmaker is a Discmania putter rated 2/3/0/0.5: a low-profile, straight-flying putter with only a gentle fade. Discmania describes it as a modified P2 with a lower profile, a beveled edge and a straighter finish, made for players who want less depth in the hand and a putter that holds its line rather than dropping off hard. Players who like a deep, high-profile putter or a strong finishing fade may prefer the P2 itself. The PDGA approved it on 30 December 2021 (21-163). Discmania credits Eagle McMahon with the original design, made in cooperation with him. Feedback from players on Disc Golf Course Review is mixed on feel: some find it shallower and easier to grip than the P2, others find the firmer Flex 3 plastic slick. One reports that a Flex 2 Rainmaker flips up slightly and holds a slow turn. The Rainmaker is not in Discmania's regular production and carries a discontinued badge here, but Discmania says it still runs occasional limited batches.
