PD2

The PD2 is Discmania's meathook distance driver, rated 12/4/0/4: fast, deeply overstable, and largely indifferent to wind or power. It exists for strong arms that need a guaranteed left finish (for a righty backhand); slower arms should expect a short, hard-fading flight rather than distance.

The reward for all that stability is trust. Thrown backhand, forehand, or overhead it refuses to turn over, which makes it the hammer for flex lines, spike hyzers, and headwind drives, and players who cycle PDs typically reach for a PD2 when even a fresh PD turns more than they like. Compared with the PD it is faster and meaningfully more overstable, the enforcer of the Power Driver family.

PDGA-approved on December 3, 2010 under the full name PD2, Chaos, Power Driver, it grew out of the PD family in the brand's Innova-made era and has stayed in the lineup ever since, surviving the move to in-house production. Years of C-Line and S-Line runs built its reputation with touring arms, signature C-Line Luster editions from Discmania pros are collector staples, and older Innova-made stamps remain sought after.
