Distance Driver

The Majesty is Discmania's speed-13 distance driver, rated 13/5/-2/2. It combines meaningful turn with a returning fade, giving powerful throws room for a broad distance curve. Players who are still learning slower drivers may see the finish without reaching the turning part of that flight.

Discmania's Active Premium listing explicitly says the Majesty is less suitable for beginner and intermediate players, while describing a role as an early high-speed overstable driver for some throwers. For higher power, the maker expects more turn before the disc comes back. That is why an understable turn figure and a demanding distance-driver role can coexist.

The manufacturer recommends several release styles, including backhands, forehands and rollers, plus tailwinds and moderate headwinds. The PDGA approved the Majesty on 27 November 2020 (20-90). The broad rim and speed requirement deserve as much attention as the glide rating when deciding whether it offers usable distance in a particular player's bag.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
