Union
NEW BRANDSMALL BRANDmore_horiz
The Union is a putt and approach disc rated 2/4/0/1. Zero turn with 4 glide and a single point of fade reads as a slow, largely straight putting flight with a soft finish left for a right-hand backhand, the profile of a disc meant to be thrown at the basket rather than shaped around it.
Disc Golf Avenue calls it stable and true, a putter for tight approaches, short tee shots and committed runs at the basket. Read that rating as provisional: the brand publishes the quartet as an approximate flight and marks the numbers pending, saying they describe the intended flight and may change after further testing, which was still the wording on its store in September 2026. The PDGA approved the mold on August 10, 2026 under certification 26-111, recording a 21.2 cm diameter, a 2.2 cm height and a deep 1.5 cm rim depth on a 1.0 cm rim.
Disc Golf Avenue grew out of Sci-Fly, which the brand's About page describes as a way to bring disc golf and the science of flight together before it became the foundation of the company. It is registered with the PDGA in Harrison Township, Michigan, and its opening release leaned hard on Detroit: the First Issue Detroit Edition Union came in the brand's Vista plastic in Fresh Coast Blue under an Eastern Market stamp, 172 to 176 grams, in a stated run of 200. TryDiscs records the mold in Vista, which the brand describes as a translucent premium blend with a tacky grip and good durability.
