Ogopogo

Control Driver

Produced in soft plastic usually reserved for putters, the Ogopogo takes all the great qualities of the Sabertooth, Mammoth and Buffalo, and gives the thrower one more; stopping ability. The Ogopogo doesn't skip on grass, cement or dirt and when it hits a tree, it just drops and stops. Because of the nature of the Elastic Performance Plastic, this disc will beat in quickly to become understable.

8 reviews from 1 store and Try Discs members

The Daredevil Ogopogo has only 8 reviews so far, so one opinion can swing the picture. That's why there's no star average yet.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.

Really good on a spike hyzer. You can park it at the basket and it will sit. Mine's starting to beat in so I probably won't be able to do that for much longer.

The Ogopogo is a disc made by dare devil discs. You may be thinking, “who is O and where are they going on a pogo?” If you are currently thinking the same thing as what was said above, you would be incorrect about the meaning of this disc's name. The actual meaning of Ogopogo is that the Ogopogo is a creature that lives in lake Okanagan in British Columbia, Canada. I know this because I saw it once and it looked at me. I am going to be honest about why I got this disc. I bought this disc from a store not because of how it flies, but because it is fun to squish. At this point in the review, you may be thinking to yourself “ I understand it is fun to squish, but how does it fly?” If this is what you are thinking. I would say to you I am not sure because mine has not properly beat in yet. However, with all that said, as of now this disc flies like a firebird that is more fun to squish. The same way the Ogopogo goes up and down through the raging waters of the mighty lake Okanagan, this disc goes up and down through the raging air of the mighty fairway.
