The Gray Jay is Daredevil's very overstable distance driver, rated 14/4/0/5. Little rated turn and heavy fade make it a power or utility choice, rather than an easy distance-building disc for a slower arm. Daredevil compares the shape with its Albatross, saying the Gray Jay has slightly more dome and less overstability. The product uses Ultra Performance, an opaque blend that the maker describes as grippy with more flex than its firmer transparent material.

The Daredevil Gray Jay has only 3 reviews so far, so one opinion can swing the picture. That's why there's no star average yet.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
