Apogee

The PDGA approved the Apogee on September 21, 2026 as certification 26-129. Its 2.4 cm rim is wider than any other Climo mold in this catalog, ahead of the 2.1 cm rims on the Skyway and Osprey, with a 21.2 cm diameter, 1.7 cm height and 1.2 cm rim depth. According to the brand, Ken Climo chose the name to honor his father, who worked at Honeywell as an avionics engineer; an apogee is the point in an orbit farthest from Earth. Climo's store offered it as a Prototype-stamped run in September 2026. Players with slower arm speeds may see less of the rated turn, and a more overstable flight, than the numbers suggest.
