Tone Salt

The Tone Salt is a distance driver rated 12/5/-1/3, the Salt mold built in Clash's TONE construction. A single point of turn at speed 12 with a 3 fade suggests a long, workable power flight: a touch of high-speed drift, then a dependable left finish for a right-hand backhand.

Clash's page for the mold pitches the Salt as a distance driver for advanced players, designed to fly far without giving up control, with the slight high-speed turn there for full-power drives off the tee. TONE, in the Finnish brand's own description, molds a stiffer plastic into the bottom of the rim and a grippier one up top, a two-plastic construction it says adds torque resistance; the Salt was the first mold to get it, in 2024.
