The Candy is a putt and approach disc rated 3/3/-1/1. A single point of turn against a single point of fade suggests a mostly straight putter flight; at true putting power the turn tends to show less than the rating implies, leaving a gentle left finish for a right-hand backhand.

Clash tells the mold's origin story on its own page: Arttu and Rauli, the Disc Golf Finland commentators nicknamed the Finnish Jomez, were asked to help design a putter built specifically for putting, and the Candy is the result.

TryDiscs records Hardy, Planty, Softy and Steady Ring runs of the mold. PDGA approval came on 1 May 2023.
