Sombra

SMALL BRAND
Putt & Approach
The Sombra is Chumba Discs' first original mold, a deep, beadless putt-and-approach disc rated 2/4/-1/0. Chumba describes a straight flight with useful glide, gentle turn, and essentially no finishing fade. Its 2.2 cm height and 1.4 cm rim depth reinforce the full putter profile. The PDGA approved Sombra on October 4, 2022 under certification 22-171. Its name means "shadow" in Spanish, reflected in Will Beger's UV-printed artwork of a Saguaro cactus and its shadow, symbols of Arizona and the American Southwest. Chumba released the mold in two durable named plastics, Quartz and Geode.

3 reviews from 1 store

The Chumba Sombra has only 3 reviews so far, so one opinion can swing the picture. That's why there's no star average yet.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
