Webb

NEW BRANDSMALL BRAND
Control Driver

The Webb is a control driver rated 7/5/0/2. Zero turn into a 2 fade with 5 glide reads as a stable fairway flight that resists high-speed turnover and finishes left for a right-hand backhand, a placement driver rather than a distance one. It is not a disc that rewards trying to turn it over.

Those numbers are Bernoulli's own. The certification sample is stamped Webb, then the four figures in a row of boxes, over the brand name, with PDGA Approved and Fairway Driver beneath. TryDiscs files the mold as a control driver, the same class under a different label. The PDGA approved it on September 7, 2026 under certification 26-122, recording a 21.3 cm diameter, a 1.7 cm height, a 1.2 cm rim depth and a 1.8 cm rim on a beadless profile.

The same stamp settles the name: its artwork is the James Webb Space Telescope, the segmented mirror and layered sunshield drawn across the flight plate, following the Hubble in the brand's catalogue. Bernoulli is a sustainability-focused maker that also advertises custom and private-label production for other brands. As of September 2026 the Webb had not yet reached the brand's own site, whose wholesale page still offered five disc golf molds. TryDiscs lists it in Recycled Plastic; the brand page covers the materials it works in.

Arm speed

NoviceIntermediatePro
SpeedHow hard the disc must be thrown to fly as designed. Putters are 1 to 3, the fastest drivers 14 and up.
7
GlideHow long the disc stays in the air. More glide means more distance from the same throw.
5
TurnHow much it drifts right early in flight (right-handed backhand). More negative, more drift.
0
FadeHow hard it hooks left as it slows down (right-handed backhand). Higher, stronger hook.
2
StabilityTurn plus fade. Negative drifts right and is easier for beginners. Positive finishes left.Turn + Fade

Dimensions

Source: PDGA
DiameterHow wide the disc is, edge to edge. Almost every disc is 21 to 22 cm.
21.3 cm
HeightHow tall the disc is lying flat. Putters are usually the tallest.
1.7 cm
Rim DepthHow deep the rim is underneath, where your fingers grip. Putters have the deepest rims.
1.2 cm
Rim ThicknessHow wide the rim is. Wider rims make faster discs that need a stronger throw.
1.8 cm
Rim Inside DiameterThe width of the flat middle, inside the rim. Bigger usually means a slower, easier disc.
17.7 cm
Rim Depth/Diameter RatioRim depth as a share of the disc's width. Higher means a deeper rim for its size.
5.6%
Rim ConfigurationA PDGA score for the shape of the edge. Low is sharp, like a driver. High is rounded, like a putter.
28.5
BeadA small ridge under the edge of the rim, mostly on putters. It changes how the disc feels in hand.
