The Locust is Above Ground Level's speed-9 driver with a defined finishing return, rated 9/4/-1/3. It fits shaped drives and flex lines that need some early movement before a firm fade. AGL's launch-era description promotes a small anhyzer start for a longer flexing flight. AGL says it distributed 1,200 pre-release Locust prototypes. The PDGA approved the Locust on 23 June 2020. A separately named Locust x variant was approved in May 2023.
